Murfreesboro, TN—–Let’s get it started! Roots Rendezvous and Uncle Dave Macon Days are partnering with Hop Springs for the 2025 festival. Uncle Dave Macon Days has championed the roots music experience for 47 years in Middle Tennessee. The Uncle Dave Macon Days organization is announcing a renewed commitment to the mission of perpetuating and preserving the made-in-America music at Roots Rendezvous Festival 2025. Dates for the 2025 fest are September 19-20-21. 

Matt Need, Director of Sales and Communications states, “This year’s festival marks a renewed pledge to give back to the community featuring nonprofit organizations with a focus on affordable and available housing, “A Coming Home” theme.  Community service organizations will be invited to participate in the festivities at a “Community Service Fair”.

Sustaining a zeal to grow musical culture for over four decades, the Uncle Dave Macon Days organizers have nurtured the early music performed on the front- porches, parlors, and barn raisin’s of the 19th and early 20th century. Celebrating the old and blending in the new, this year’s festival features talented musicians on 2 stages and a vendor fair highlighting local arts and artists like “Boro International and the ‘Boro Art Crawl”. The headliner of this year is the one-of-a-kind unique comedy music experience, “The Cleverly’s”, performing Saturday night, September 20.  The entire schedule is coming soon.

Miranda Adams, Manager of Hop Springs stated, “We are partnering with Uncle Dave Macon Days to enhance the festival experience, educating the public about old-time traditions in a fun way. Together we are excited to work with Uncle Dave Macon Days to produce the 2025 festival and give this event a home. We are honored to help preserve the rich tradition of Dave Macon’s impact on the roots of music. All is within a couple of miles of his old homeplace in the Kittrell Community. The music will create a unique destination event for Hop Springs.”
